Depending on the patient, care may include guideline-directed medication, coronary intervention or bypass surgery, ICD/CRT, ventricular assist devices and transplantation.
Role of RiHEART
RiHEART is limited to severe heart failure caused by ischemic cardiomyopathy that remains refractory to pharmacological and invasive standard treatments. It has conditional, time-limited approval; long-term efficacy remains under evaluation.

- Coronary angiography or CT, echocardiography and cardiac MRI
- Serial LVEF, exercise testing and hospitalization history
- Medication doses and prior interventions
- Renal function, infection history and functional status
